Praslin
is not as mountainous as Mahé: the highest point
rising to around 330 metres, but it has similar granite
outcrops surrounded by the most beautiful beaches and a
coral reef.
L'Archipel
hotel is located in the North-East part of Praslin, at the
end of the famous Cote d'Or.

At
the reception desk you can rent
a car or a bicycle,
or simply, you may use the bus
to discover Praslin:
The
Coco de Mer,
with its distinctive and unusually shaped nut is found in
the prehistoric vegetation of the Vallee de Mai National Park
- there are various nature trails in the park and around the
island.
Anse
Lazio, maybe the most beautiful beach in the
world.
Anse
Volbert or Cote d’Or, to the
West of the island, are particularly beautiful and there are
many other places where you can enjoy an entire beach to yourself.
Diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, and fishing are possible
both from Grand Anse and Anse Volbert. On your way, you will
come accross two villages where people are friendly and where
every day is a beautiful day. There is a growing number of
small restaurants, particularly in the Cote d’Or area.
